Terms of Service

View Privacy Policy

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the operator of tidepin (the "Company") and users with respect to the use of the tidepin service (the "Service").

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Service" means all tidepin functionality that generates pins (image + copy) to be posted on Pinterest based on content from a user's registered site or shop, or a topic you describe, and publishes them according to the user's prior approval and scheduling.
  2. "User" means a member who uses the Service under these Terms.
  3. "Site" means a website, Shopify store, Etsy shop, or topic project the user has added to the Service.
  4. "Pin" means the image and text content the Service generates from a site's content and posts to Pinterest.
  5. "Connected Account" means the user's Pinterest account that the Service connects to in order to publish pins.
  6. "Publishing" means an approved and scheduled pin actually being posted to Pinterest through the Connected Account.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)

  1. These Terms take effect by being posted on the Service or otherwise announced to users.
  2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent not in violation of applicable law. Amended Terms will be announced within the Service at least 7 days before their effective date, stating the effective date and reason for the change. Changes unfavorable to users will be announced at least 30 days in advance, along with individual notice such as email.
  3. If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, the user may discontinue use of the Service and delete their account. Continued use of the Service after notice is deemed acceptance of the amended Terms.

Article 4 (Description of Service)

The Company provides the following services:

  1. Periodically reading a user's registered site to detect new content — its public sitemap/feed, a Shopify store's public product list, or an Etsy shop's listings through Etsy's official API
  2. Creating pins from that content: template designs, pin text written with AI, optional AI-generated photos, and pins from images you upload
  3. Providing review, editing, and approval functionality for generated pins
  4. Publishing user-approved pins to Pinterest sequentially, following a rate-limiting and cross-publishing algorithm designed to lower the risk of Pinterest account suspension
  5. Monitoring signals such as publishing failure rate on a Pinterest account and providing early warning of anomalies
  6. Related tools, such as keyword ideas, pin performance read from Pinterest, CSV export, access for team members, and API keys

The Company will never publish a pin that the user has not approved and scheduled in advance, under any circumstances.

Article 5 (Registration and Accounts)

  1. The Service can only be registered for and signed into using Google social login; there is no separate username/password issuance process.
  2. Users must ensure that the email, name, and profile image information provided by their Google account at registration is accurate.
  3. The Company may refuse registration or later terminate the service agreement in any of the following cases:
    • Using another person's Google account without authorization
    • Providing false information
    • Using the Service for a purpose prohibited by applicable law or these Terms, or contrary to public order and good morals

Article 6 (External Platform Connections and User Obligations)

  1. Users must only connect sites to the Service that they have legitimate authority to operate.
  2. When connecting a site, the Service does not request private admin account information or login credentials, and only collects publicly accessible information such as sitemaps and public feeds. However, where an official platform integration (OAuth) such as Shopify/Etsy is additionally offered, a separate consent process applies.
  3. When connecting a Pinterest account, users must comply with Pinterest's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and are solely responsible for all activity on the Connected Account, including the results of pin publishing.
  4. The Company is not responsible for the accuracy or legality (including any intellectual property infringement) of content information — such as titles, images, and prices — posted on a user's site; this responsibility belongs entirely to the user (the site operator).
  5. Users must not allow content that infringes another's intellectual property, is unlawful, or violates Pinterest's Community Guidelines to be published through the Service.
  6. AI-generated text and images may be inaccurate, or may unintentionally resemble existing works. Nothing is published until you approve it, so please review each pin before you approve it; you are responsible for the pins you approve.
  7. An account owner may invite team members to work on their sites. The owner pays for the team's use and is responsible for what your team members do in the Service.

Article 7 (Pricing, Payment, and Refunds)

  1. Making, editing and previewing pins is free. Free accounts can use one website and one Pinterest account and publish the pins made with the AI photos included at sign-up. A paid subscription is required to publish other pins, add more websites or Pinterest accounts, and export pins as a CSV file. There is no free trial; instead, the first payment can be refunded as described below.
  2. Payments are processed through the Company's payment processor, Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"). Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for sales of this Service's subscriptions, and is responsible for payment processing, tax calculation and collection, refunds, and payment dispute handling. The Company does not directly store users' card numbers or other payment method information.
  3. Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly, as the user chooses; yearly billing costs less than twelve monthly payments. Subscription fees are automatically renewed and charged each billing cycle. Users may cancel their subscription at any time before the next billing cycle.
  4. AI photos: Each plan includes a number of AI photos a month; they are renewed every month, including on yearly plans, and do not carry over. When a subscription ends, that month's unused AI photos end with it. An AI photo that fails to generate is returned to the user's balance.
  5. Early-list price: People who joined the early list before launch get 75% off their first 3 monthly payments, or 50% off their first yearly payment, on the Start and Pro plans, if they choose a plan within 30 days of the launch email. It applies once, to the first subscription only; later payments are at the regular price.
  6. Refunds: Users may request a full refund for any reason within 14 days of their first paid charge. Refunds are generally not provided after 14 days, except where the Company is clearly at fault, such as a service outage, in which case a separate resolution will be provided.
  7. Failed payments: If a renewal payment fails — for example, because a card expired — paid features keep working while our payment processor retries the payment, and the user is asked to update their payment method. If the payment still fails when the retries end, the subscription ends and paid features are restricted as described in item 8.
  8. Canceling a subscription or a lapse in payment does not delete a user's account, sites, generated pins, or other data — only paid features are restricted. Pins made during the subscription, including AI pins, can be published again after choosing a plan. To fully delete data, the account deletion process in Article 11 must be followed.

Article 8 (Publishing Principles)

  1. The Company will never automatically publish a pin that the user has not approved and scheduled. Users approve pins one by one, or a day or a week at a time, and only the pins they approved are published.
  2. To lower the risk of Pinterest account suspension, the Company automatically assigns publishing times based on the publishing speed limits (including daily caps) set by the user and, unless the user turns it off, a gradual warm-up for new sites, and warns the user when many pins fail to post. This rate limit can never be lifted beyond the Company's defined absolute maximum, even at the user's explicit request.
  3. While the Company works to lower the risk of Pinterest account suspension through publishing speed limits, it does not guarantee outcomes such as avoiding account suspension, publishing failures, or reduced reach that may result from Pinterest's own policy changes, algorithms, or review criteria.
  4. The Company is not responsible for service disruptions arising from third-party platforms such as Pinterest, Shopify, or Etsy changing or discontinuing their own APIs, policies, or services.

Article 9 (Prohibited User Conduct)

Users must not:

  1. Use the Service to publish content that violates the Terms of Service or Community Guidelines of Pinterest or any connected platform
  2. Use another person's account (Google, Pinterest, or site) without authorization
  3. Interfere with the normal operation of the Service or place excessive load on its servers
  4. Reverse engineer the Service or attempt to extract its source code
  5. Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law or public order and good morals

Article 10 (Intellectual Property)

  1. Rights to the pin images and copy automatically generated by the Service belong to the user, who may freely publish or modify them on Pinterest. However, rights to the original content images used in a pin belong to the original rights holder (the user or their site).
  2. Intellectual property rights to the Service itself (software, design, templates, the "tidepin" trademark, etc.) belong to the Company.

Article 11 (Termination and Account Deletion)

  1. Users may terminate their service agreement at any time using the "Delete Account" feature within the Service.
  2. Deleting an account first cancels any active subscription right away, so no further payments are charged. Deleting an account does not by itself refund past payments — to ask for a refund under Article 7, contact us before deleting.
  3. Deleting an account immediately and irreversibly deletes the following: connected Pinterest account information and tokens (deleted immediately; you can also remove tidepin from the apps connected in your Pinterest settings), all registered sites and their content information, all generated pins, uploaded and AI-generated images, team invitations, API keys, support requests, account health history, and subscription information — except records the law requires us to keep for a set period (see Article 3 of the Privacy Policy).
  4. If a user engages in conduct prohibited under Article 9 or materially breaches these Terms, the Company may restrict use of the Service or terminate the service agreement, after prior notice (or subsequent notice in urgent cases).

Article 12 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)

  1. The Company is not responsible for damages arising from outages, policy changes, or discontinuation of services provided by third parties such as Pinterest, Google, Shopify, Etsy, or Paddle.
  2. The Company does not guarantee that pins published through the Service will result in any specific increase in traffic, sales conversion, or revenue, and does not promise such outcomes in advertising or marketing copy. In particular, with respect to Etsy integration, the Company does not promise any increase in conversion rate or revenue (Etsy does not provide API access to order data, so the Company cannot substantiate such claims).
  3. Except in cases of the Company's intentional misconduct or gross negligence, the Company's liability for damages is limited to the total subscription fees actually paid by the user in the 12 months immediately preceding the date the damage occurred, except to the extent such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.
  4. The Company is not responsible for service interruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, power outages, or telecommunications carrier service suspensions.

Article 13 (Dispute Resolution, Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Contact)

  1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
  2. If a dispute arises, please contact us first at support@tidepin.com so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days.
  3. If it cannot be resolved, disputes arising from use of the Service are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court in the Republic of Korea.
  4. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms takes away the protection of the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country where those laws allow.
  5. These Terms are written in English. If they are translated, the English version prevails.
  6. Questions about the Service or these Terms may be directed to the contact information below.

Effective date: These Terms are effective as of October 22, 2026.
